Trowbridge & Trowbridge Celebrates 10-Year Anniversary

McLean, VA — July 19, 2016 – Trowbridge & Trowbridge, LLC, a leading federal information systems and solutions provider, celebrates its 10-year anniversary this summer. Founded by President and CEO Karen Trowbridge in 2006, the privately-held company has more than 300 employees today working nationwide on mission-critical, performance-driven defense and civilian programs. Trowbridge has experienced significant growth in recent years as it has extended its technical capabilities to leading-edge areas such as cybersecurity and cloud and expanded its support to include overseas (OCONUS) operations. In the last five years alone, Trowbridge’s revenues have increased by approximately 500%.

As a small start-up firm, Trowbridge initially held contracts with the National Institutes of Health and the Department of Energy. In 2010, Trowbridge acquired Altech Services, Inc. (Altech), which had extensive experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) information technology (IT) and telecommunications systems. This acquisition diversified Trowbridge’s capabilities and customer base and allowed the company to begin to offer unique single vendor solutions.

The company added key contracts with the Department of Labor, Department of Treasury, and Department of Veterans Affairs, as well as with the U.S. Army, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy and other DoD organizations including the Joint Service Provider, Joint Staff, and Defense Information Systems Agency. Today, Trowbridge develops solutions that encompass the broad spectrum of systems integration and lifecycle management, enabling federal decision-makers and warfighters to access, store, deliver, and protect vital data.
